Privacy statements

In accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act, this privacy statement is supposed to provide information to users of this website with regard to the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data.

The operator of the website takes the protection of your data very seriously and will therefore handle it confidentially and in accordance with statutory provisions.

But please keep in mind that any type of data transmission on the Internet may be subject to gaps in security. Therefore, it is impossible to completely protect information from third-party access.

Access data

The website operator and/or the website provider collects data regarding the access to this site and saves them, as "server logfiles". The following data are logged:

  • Visited website
  • Time when it was accessed
  • Amount of sent data in Bytes
  • Source/link from where it was accessed
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

These data cannot be linked to specific persons. These data will not be combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to analyse these data if there is specific evidence of an unlawful use.

This website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal. Your browser accesses these data. The use of cookies increases user-friendliness.

Standard browsers offer settings that block the authorisation of cookies.  Note: It cannot be ensured that you can make unlimited use of all functions of this website if you have activated the respective settings.

Processing of personal data

The operator of the website only collects, uses and passes on your personal data if doing so is permitted within the framework of the law or if you have agreed to the collection of the data.

"Personal data" refers to all information that serves to identify you and that could be traced back to you – for example your name, e-mail address and phone number.

The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In case of data protection law violations, the affected person has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority with regard to questions concerning data protection laws is the data protection officer of the state in which the company has its registered office. A list of the data protection officers as well as their contact information can be found using this link: www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive (or have a third party receive) the personal data we processed with your permission or as part of a contract, in a commonly used and machine-readable format. If you demand data portability to another controller, this will only be done where technically feasible.

Contact forms and registration

If you use a contact form for enquiries or for registration, the information you provide in that form, including any contact information you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case there are potential follow-up questions. We will not pass on these data without your consent.

The information provided by completing the form will be processed solely based on your consent (Art. 6, Sec. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal e-mail to us is sufficient to do so. The legality of the data-processing operations that were conducted until the permission was revoked remains unaffected.

We will store the data provided in the form until you ask us to delete them, you revoke the permission that allows us to store them or the purpose for the data storage no longer applies (e.g. once your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Withdrawal of consent to data processing

Many data-processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke your previous consent at any time. An informal e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data-processing operations that were conducted until the permission was revoked remains unaffected.

User rights: Access, correction and deletion

You as the user, upon request, can receive information at no cost to you in order to find out which of your personal data have been saved. If your wish conflicts with the statutory obligation to preserve data (e.g. with regard to telecommunications data retention), you have the right to correct incorrect data and the blocking or deletion of your personal data.

Google Ajax & jQuery Bibliotheken, Google Maps

In some cases, this website uses Ajax and jQuery technologies. In addition, e.g. in the "Contact Us" page, Google Maps may be displayed. In order to do so, the corresponding program libraries and/or map contents are called up from Google servers. In this context, the website operator points out that this use could result in external Google servers in the USA being called up. Unfortunately, at this time, the website operator does not know whether Google logs this server request or processes it further. However, the website operator assumes that Google's data protection notice also applies in this case. As a result, it must be assumed that Google will definitely save your IP address for several months. The same also applies to Java Script elements that can be downloaded from Google servers for the purpose of browser compatibility (e.g. with IE9).

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, for example in the case of enquiries you send to us as website operators, this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection because the address bar of your browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and a lock symbol appears in your browser bar.

When this SSL encryption is activated, data you submit to us, the website operators, cannot be read by third parties.
